Miscellaneous Dream Task: Lifetime Dream Scrapbooking For every lifetime dream that I complete, I do a double-sided scrapbook page featuring the dream. It has become a great way to celebrate and look back on the dreams that I have completed. I used to have a three-color chromatic scheme, but I simplified it, ignoring my obsessive-compulsive-disorder (OCD). I now scrapbook odd number dreams with a black base and red border, and even numbered dreams (pictured here) with a red base and black border.
I found the halo and wings online today (kudos to Bridget) and just had to use them!! :) I think the funniest part is his collar - "bad to the bone"... some angel! LOL
I like how many different kinds of contrast here. More of my work at: www.flashbacktheatre.com and inspir8tion.blogspot.com/
A flower with a yellow brad for its center is behind door #1. This is for the ATC Beginners Swap that focuses on Doors & Windows. I chose doors. I like doors. There's something intriguing about what's behind a door. A kind of surprise. Or...it perhaps it goes back to the "Let's Make a Deal" game show phase. For some reason I really liked watching that show. This card is made with a variety of scrapbook papers. The numbers are handcut from tinfoil that was painted with alcohol inks. The door knobs are brads. Behind each door is an object.
My very first real ATC. Journaling on the back. The picture is of a Ferris wheel in Taipei that is super pretty, I love the colours and decor on it! (Taking a better pic later).

This is my hubby and I at Elora Gorge in Ontario this past October. We went for a nice stroll together and got some terrific photos! I'm kinda embarassed that I only got around to scrapping these. This is also my second "double page" layout ever! Under the large photo on the right page there is journalling. I made my own chipboard monograms for the letters "D" & "S". Hard work!! Next time I'm just going to go and buy some. lol
Sorry for the bad scan. This is from a photo my husband took of my son at a football game, when he was a baby.
After my meeting with my friend Selena, I was inspired to create a LO to "rub in" the moments we spent together. The title "Dal vivo" means "live", in the journaling I wrote "I woke up at 3 am to meet you and I took 6 trains just to reach you, I'd have done it only for you and I'm happy because it's been worth the while. Thanks for this wonderful friendship and for a day which I hope to repeat soon. I love you, Desi". I wrote the journaling onto a "pocket" used to put the train tickets, a bill and a paper with the visited villages (written by my friend). In the left bar there're some small photos of the visited villages.
I finished this layout a while ago, it took me a while to post, just lazy I guess *smile* Thank you to mimitalks for allowing me to use this picture. Some friends and I did some blank lay-out for someone at church who is ill with cancer. We made enough pages to fill two albums!
A handmade hardcover book, permanently binding a collection of newsletters. Bound in cloth and vinyl wrapping sheets. Initially, I had intended to use marbled paper but the process of making it is rather messy, so I opted for a sheet of vinyl with a printed marble pattern.
