journey from siblings to friends
Printed version can be seen here . For years I'd been wanting to take all my family's great photos, restore them, and put them in a really nice photo book. Finally I decided (about a year ago) to start the project by collecting about 50 pictures at a time in secret with the help of my step-dad. I had initially decided to go with Asuka books but eventually went with Shutterfly instead due to time crunch (I had to fit in graduation photos at the end of the book, but commencement was a week before Mother's Day and Asuka takes a minimum of 3 weeks including rush delivery). The final product was a even 100 pages, hard photo cover, and a plentiful 12x12 inches. I pretty pleased with the quality, although there were some unwanted cropping issues along the way. The total price for the book was $207 dollars including the $40 rush charge I put on it to make sure it would get here in time for Mother's Day.
