Day One...new challenges, new ideas, new goals, new sense of determination.
brochure, flyer ... layout and concept for a "gravenursery-association" (no idea for proper spelling in english)
I like how many different kinds of contrast here. More of my work at: www.flashbacktheatre.com and inspir8tion.blogspot.com/
Ok, I'm back in it. I think I know where to take the background for the brassia and the other one is starting to take some shape. Thanks for the push Jill! I can do this!
4.8.09 On the 2Peas mb, someone challenged the moms of kids with autism to do a layout about their kids for Autism Awareness Month. So I also decided to do this as a quick product challenge for myself by grabbing a few supplies and leaving my scraproom to create with them. The journaling reads: Paige: It's been a couple years since your autism diagnosis and the progress you've made is just incredible. Lately, things seem to be coming together for you and you are able to reveal more of yourself to us. I love getting to know more about you and what you are thinking! Keep it coming, kid, you're doing great!!
My very first attempt with Scrapblog (view my scrapblog or visit www.scrapblog.com) .
Sorry for the bad scan. This is from a photo my husband took of my son at a football game, when he was a baby.
After my meeting with my friend Selena, I was inspired to create a LO to "rub in" the moments we spent together. The title "Dal vivo" means "live", in the journaling I wrote "I woke up at 3 am to meet you and I took 6 trains just to reach you, I'd have done it only for you and I'm happy because it's been worth the while. Thanks for this wonderful friendship and for a day which I hope to repeat soon. I love you, Desi". I wrote the journaling onto a "pocket" used to put the train tickets, a bill and a paper with the visited villages (written by my friend). In the left bar there're some small photos of the visited villages.
My sister looking gorgeous at my wedding - such a pretty bridesmaid! Pic by Rebecca Roundhill. Again, not for a Hero Arts challenge but just wanted to share my love of HA birdy stamps! I love stamping them on felt, like this little guy.
Exposition artistique et originale aux Jardins de Métis. Rachel fait un très joli modèle!
Some friends and I did some blank lay-out for someone at church who is ill with cancer. We made enough pages to fill two albums!
Uber-simple grid. I'm such a book noob. I predict 50+ more designs/iterations. I need to start writing 2 chapters and then push the layout issue.
