the autumn & me: 07
(more about my mini book week here) A mini book about autumn. I knew I wanted to experiment with gesso, painted the pages first and then found a few small photos I had printed last October but never used. (I love my "random bits and pieces" box.) It felt good to do something about autumn - not that I love it more than any other season (ok, maybe a little bit) or dislike spring or want autumn now - but now that spring is coming, it feels good to be able to say "spring is great, and autumn will be great when it comes along, too". Does that make sense? Things I learned: + Nothing will attach things to gesso except gesso. + They NEED to start selling Hambly in Sweden. Buying them from the States is getting ridiculous - not the prices of the papers and rub-ons themselves, but the shipping prices. And now that I opened these rub-ons they had DRIED.
