My Pages These were so

My Pages

These were so bulky it was hard to get a good scan of them. Back then I didn't know *how* to take a good pic of a layout. I guess I could take some now. Ok, I'll add that to the list. These had ribbon on the top of them and flipped over for stuff underneath.

Medicina - memories, childhood This is my

Medicina - memories, childhood

This is my LO for the 15th week of the 2008 Scrap Challenge, scrappers had to prepare a page using a page of an old book in it. I chosed to print two pages of an old book because I deeply love all my books and I didn't like the idea of tearing away pages, I guess it's not a problem, is it? The title "Medicina" is the name of my town in province of Bologna (Italy), in the journaling, which is on a paper from a notebook which was glued onto the right page of the old book. I wrote: "April 2008 - In a few weeks I'll move, but I couldn't forget my home town, it'll stay forever in my mind!!". The photo shows the entrance in my town coming from Bologna. I used a few items, such as 3 heart-shaped scraps, 1 arrow-shaped scrap, 2 white corners, two cut 3D words, obviously the 2 printed pages of the old book and a paper from a notebook for the journaling. I also used the liquid whiteout for the doodlings around the page. You can find all the details about the challenge

Casa This is my

Casa

This is my LO for the 18th week of the 2008 Scrap Challenge, scrappers had to prepare a page with the recap of April. I printed the mosaic which I used on Flickr to report about my last expedition at the new flat because the past month was focused on the organization of the works before the final relocation. The title "casa" in green means "home". In the journaling, I wrote: "The month of April 2008 marked a real turning point for us. We bought the flat, the old owner left and we immediately started the works of arrangement before entering it permanently". Rubber stamp Autumn Leaves called "Let it be" (it's perfect for the occasion); Silver star-shaped brads by Artoz; House-shaped and star-shaped scraps; Other various scraps; Printed small map and monthly planner (both partially catched by the mosaic); Embossed words "us", "home" and "dream" by Dymo embossing labelmaker. You can find all the details

My Scrapbooking/Crafting Desk (Got into Flickr

My Scrapbooking/Crafting Desk

(Got into Flickr Explore June 13, 2008) I took this of my crafting desk. I like how it is an L shape so I can spread out all my scrapbook projects.I got the desk at IKEA. On the left is my Cropper Hopper that holds all of my 12 x12 paper. On the right is a file box that holds two Creative Memories File Mates. In the front File Mate is my scraps of cut paper that is organized by color. The File Mate in the back holds all of my 10x12 Creative Memories paper that is also organized by color. My Zig pens are all organized by color. On the far right I have my two boxes of Power Layouts. I love to layout a whole album this way. I can not srapbook any other way. Also on the right side I have all of my Fiskars fancy scissors. On the left is a lazy susan that is from the Pampered Chef. It holds odds and ends.

Photo Box Shelf I took this

Photo Box Shelf

I took this of the shelf that I store all of my photo boxes that contain my negatives. I have all of my negatives in the Creative Memories neg care system. They are all in plastic sleeves in envelopes organized chronologically through the years. Each photo box contains two years of negatives. I have all of my film negatives since the 80's. Friends and family know that they can always get a reprint from me. The top of the shelf contains my photos that are stored on CDs. The drawers under the desk contain my crafting supplies. I have my beads, paints, and other craft supplies. I got the desk at IKEA. My husband got the little shelves that sit on top of the desk.
