This is my LO for the 26th week of the 2008 Scrap Challenge, scrappers had to prepare a page about someone who lately brought them happiness. I chosed to use a print which I received (twice in error) via mail some months ago from a religious association, it's a photographic reproduction of the pilgrim statue of the Madonna of Fatima which cried miraculously in New Orleans in 1972 (oh my, was it a prediction of the catastrophe due to the Katrina hurricane?). I also added the pic which I uploaded some days ago here to report an exceptional fact which occured at our new flat (see here for the whole story). The title shows all my gratitude to Mary, telling in Italian "Thanks M", I created it with the white rounded letters by Stamperia and Her handwritten initial. Valentine Scrapbook

Some of the "snippets" - a couple are just cute quotes... the white paper is another tabbed piece with the lyrics to Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol which is our song. The pink envelope with "SWAK" on it is filled with things I printed out - snippets of online conversations between us that are really special, and a couple photos. These were a little more personal so I didn't scan them :)

Ian is into astrology and one of the things he loved was how well we "fit" based on the stars. :) His tarot cards showed him the love card every time he asked about me, which they had never done for anyone else! This is the little 8x8 scrapbook I made for Ian as a gift for our first Valentine's Day together. We had only known each other a few months and been a couple for 6 weeks, but I chronicled our time together so far. He loved it!! I gave this to him Feb 2007. :)

This page was loose so we could pull it out and add to it. The lightest pink pen I used didn't show up here which is why you see blank spots. They say "hunt for ghost towns" and "walk lots of pretty places".... let's see... we have done everything on this list except go to Hawaii and get fit... LOL. There's still time! Yearly Mother's Day Album

This year, Kelli Taylor found her inspiration by looking at a gift made by her friend. Using a Kolo Riva photo album, Kelli dedicated each page to a year of her life; she chose her favorite Mother-Daughter photo, slipped it into the frame and dated it the year it was taken. Starting from the year she was born, the album tells the story of their time together. It was really difficult choosing only one picture from each year. There ended up being more than one from 2006’s wedding because my Mom loves those pictures. I pre-sized the pictures before printing to ensure that they lined up in the way that I wanted them to. During the process of making this album, I found that most of the pictures I wanted to use were stored away in old albums. I had to remove them and scan them into my computer. Considering most of the work was done, I might give a burned copy of the pictures with the album so that they can be used for other projects. Although a great, and easy, Mother’s
